Adam Caltury announced as Rutgers recruiting coordinator

Rutgers has officially brought on a new director of recruiting as head coach Chris Ash has added another member with Ohio State ties. Adam Caltury served as a recruiting assistant for the Buckeyes for the last two seasons.

“I am pleased to welcome Adam to the Rutgers football staff,” Ash said in a statement. “Adam and I were together at Ohio State for two seasons and he is a tireless worker, and someone who is very passionate about college football. He helped our staff build some of the top-rated recruiting classes in the country and his ability to relate to the players gives us a great boost in recruiting.”

Prior to joining Ohio State, Caltury was the offensive coordinator at Central Valley High School in Pennsylvania, where he worked from 2010-13.

Caltury originally hails from Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Slippery Rock University.
